What a Cassandra sees is something dark and painful that may not be apparent on the surface of things or that objective facts do not corroborate. She may envision a negative or unexpected outcome; or something which would be difficult to deal with; or a truth which others, especially authority figures, would not accept. In her frightened, ego-less state, a Cassandra may blurt out what she sees, perhaps with the unconscious hope that others might be able to make some sense of it. But to them her words sound meaningless, disconnected and blown out of all proportion.
Maybe we’ll meet again, when we are slightly older and our minds less hectic, and I’ll be right for you and you’ll be right for me. But right now, I am chaos to your thoughts and you are poison to my heart.
man i used to really not like her. tumblr showed me the way
I felt that last comment
black girls are vulnerable. we have feelings. we dont always care what others think, but what they say can have an affect on us. no one wants to let us live. i can only imagine if my words were on a scale as large as hers, how difficult it would be.
She’s always bashed, criticized, made fun of, and her words and sentiments are almost always dismissed. People look at her and don’t take her seriously and it’s completely unfair.
Bacharach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Southwestern Germany. Der Mittelrhein (Rhine Valley/Middle Rhine) is the most famous section of the Rhein river, running between Bonn and Bingen near Mainz, and spanning the German states of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, and Hessen. The section from Koblenz to Bingen and Rüdesheim, known as the Rhein Gorge, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The entire valley is often called “The Romantic Rhein”. There are countless castles and ruins and this area is one of the most touristy in the country. Traveling there is easy - there are cruises, castles and winery tours by day, sampling of wine at nigh, and it’s no surprise that the visiting demographic is slanted heavily towards retirees looking for an easy break. Peak season is in summer, when the hillsides are green and the cruise boats busy. By the end of September, many inns and restaurants already start closing down for the winter, and almost all cruises end by November, starting up again in April.
